We tend to like things that are Nice or Groovy. I like Nice and Groovy, but I think we tend to forget to listen to what the music actually <em>is<\/em>. Does it want to tell us anything other than &#8220;Have a good time&#8221;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I made this as preparations for a service. Sadly it was not approved. They did not want to scare or bother people. So we did a nice pop song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I understand. But I wanted to tell people a story. I wanted them to experience something unexpected. They did not, and everyone was happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We need comfort and familiarity. But in a society where we constantly hone our own echo chambers, I like to challenge people. Just a little bit.
